Shooting course (rifle)

27.02.2019
Education

Shooting course designed for persons who bring along firearms as a means of self-defense against polar bears and other potentially dangerous animals in connection with scientific fieldwork in Greenland. The course consists of a compulsory theory part with a focus on safe handling and familiarity with the rifle (dry training). Operational functions are trained with recognizable click cartridges together with introductions to good weapon routines and review of the use of the signal gun as a deterrent.

The practical shooting training focuses on pulse and stress training. If possible the use of the signal gun will be tested, otherwise only the use of rifle is trained.

Course certificates are issued after completion of the course.
